  2. Just nominated George Rook’s blog for Best Health Blogs of 2014 at http://www.healthline.com/health/best-health-blogs-contest with description: Living Well with Dementia. Bio: “Patient activist Chair Shropshire Dementia Action Alliance Influencer for change in healthcare And I have dementia at 63!” Truthful Kindness’ opinion:: “George has one of the best dementia blogs I know of – not sophisticated or wordy – just transparent and accurate in self-portrayal of lived experiences in dementia.” – Tru To vote for George’s blog simply enter George Rook in “contestants” field. They will ask you to login thru either FaceBook or Twitter in order to vote.

    • PS: We have about 25 active PWD bloggers. It appears that this “Best Blogs” contest may be source of resources listed in “20 Best Alzheimer Blogs” of the year, which ends up as a well-distributed resource throughout the year. I had attempted to contact them with dissatisfaction at only 10% patient writers in their resource list of blogs in Jan 2014. I was unsuccessful in contacting anyone. Maybe the source of their decision is more of a popularity contest, but nevertheless if it gets the PWD patient bloggers out there as a resource then i am willing to work on a popularity contest!! (Some efforts for an introvert!!) George, yours was first but i will be nominating new PWD blogger each of remaining 13 days in contest. Please vote!
